Building on the theory of the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), we recognize that there is a significant difference between what a child can achieve unaided and what can be achieved with the help of the expert teacher. This establishes the fact that learning should be matched in some manner with the child's developmental level.
As the creator of Math concepts, we believe that conceptual development is a process; it cannot be approached or taught like a method. As such, our classes are design to help pupils to understand how the various concepts are developed and how they are connected to our day to day contexts. As we prepare our young for the 21st century, conceptual development must take on a cognitive approach.
Gradually, pupils develop themselves to think not only critically but also creatively, in breadth and also in depth.
