The 60 Experience
The Latest Resource by VisibleMATH
The Sixty Experience is the latest problem-solving series that creates meaningful learning experiences to help pupils excel in non-routine problems under the revised syllabus. Unlike the usual practice of using a problem sum to teach a concept, each experience is separated from the concept to enable greater scaffolding and skill mastery before entering into conceptual development. Each lesson is carried out within a time frame of 60 minutes and consists of the following components:
Experiential activities that develop the prior skills needed to allow pupils to learn with ease. The focus is to help pupils experience the development of these skills one step at a time without the need to solve a problem.
Non-routine problems that focus on the same concept expose pupils to different type of problems within the same topic. Pupils will make use of their prior experiences to help them solve these problems.
A problem of a similar concept will complete each section to stretch the pupil’s thinking in depth.
Computer lessons accompanying each lesson are available for teachers’ use. These electronic lessons allow teachers to scaffold the story context, develop the pupils’ conceptual understanding and break down the solutions at the same time. This will also give teachers the flexibility to teach their pupils at a suitable pace.

I have been in VisibleMath since primary 5. VisibleMath allows me to grasp the main concepts of every topic quickly and has improved my understanding of Mathematics through patient guidance and active involvement of their teachers. The worksheets provide me with sufficient practice for the exams and the time trials have improved my speed when it comes to tackling questions. The extremely targeted guidance provided by Mr Wan here ensured that I had the chance to clarify any existing doubts I might have. Additionally, the lessons here are enjoyable and have thus made me view Math in a different light as well as appreciate Math on a deeper level. I managed to score double distinctions for both my Mathematics. I strongly encourage all the IP pupils to go for the lessons at VisibleMath.
